Short Information: Bihar School Librarian Eligibility Test (SLET/LET) 2026, also known as the Vidyalaya Pustakalayadhyaksh Patrata Pariksha. This eligibility examination is intended for candidates seeking to qualify for school librarian positions in Bihar. Candidates must be residents of Bihar and possess a bachelor’s degree with at least 45% marks, along with a bachelor’s degree in Library Science (B.Lib./B.Lib.I.Sc.) from a recognized university, subject to the prescribed category-wise relaxations. The minimum age is 21 years, and applicable age limits and relaxations should be checked in the official notification. The online application process began on 01 October 2026, and the last date to submit the application form and examination fee has been extended to 31 October 2026.
